NAME
wiredctl -- wired(8) server control interface
SYNOPSIS
wiredctl start | stop | restart | reload | register | index | config |
configtest | certificate | status | help
DESCRIPTION
wiredctl is a frontend to wired(8). It is designed to control the start-
ing and stopping of the server in an easier manner.
The commands are as follows:
start
Start the wired(8) daemon.
stop
Stops the wired(8) daemon.
restart
Restarts the wired(8) daemon.
reload
Tells the wired(8) daemon to reload its configuration by sending it the
signal HUP.
register
Tells the wired(8) daemon to register with all configured trackers by
sending it the signal USR1.
index
Tells the wired(8) daemon to index its files by sending it the signal
USR2.
config
Prints the current active configuration.
configtest
Runs a configuration syntax test, to verify that the config file will
be accepted.
certificate
Generates a new OpenSSL certificate using req(1).
status
Prints a status summary.
help
Prints a quick command guide.
Additional argument flags passed with the start and restart commands are
passed directly to wired(8), in addition to the default flags. The
default flags can be set by opening wiredctl in any text editor and edit-
ing the variable WIREDFLAGS.
